Let clients schedule recurring appointments on your calendar

You can use Clarityflow Appointment booking to offer clients the ability to book recurring appointments or series of appointments all in one easy flow!

  • Offer recurring appointments on a fixed schedule

  • Offer a package of appointments where clients can pick times for each appointment

Enable recurring appointments

When setting up your appointment type, under "Recurring Appointments" turn on the option for "Appointments series". This will reveal all of the options available when setting up recurring appointments and appointments series.

By default, the "Recurring type" option will be set to let the person select the day and time for each appointment in the appointments series.

This means that if you're offering a series of 4 appointments, then when a person views your booking page, they will be guided through the process to select their day & time for each of the 4 appointments.

Each selection will follow your availability, which takes into account any other events on your connected calendar.

The other "Recurring types" allow you to offer recurring appointments that repeat on a fixed schedule, every day, week, month or quarter.

You also have the option to limit your recurring appointments to end. You can have the recurring appointments end after a period of time or after a certain number of appointments have been completed.

For example, you can ensure that your recurring appointments only happen for a total of 8 sessions or only continue until 3 months have passed.

Handling scheduling conflicts with recurring appointments

When you've connected your calendar to Clarityflow, your availability that people see when booking their first appointment in a recurring appointments series (or each individual appointment if you're offering this ability) will always ensure that only times when you're available will be shown.

However, if a someone books a recurring appointment that repeats every Thursday at 3:00pm with no end, and you have another appointment scheduled for a Thursday that's several weeks or months in the future, how should this future conflict be handled?
