Troubleshoot notifications on your mobile device
If you've installed the Clarityflow mobile app to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, then you can receive mobile push notifications (along with or in place of email notifications).
Occassionally, mobile push notifications for specific apps can become disabled—even if you have notifications turned on in your Clarityflow account. If you find that you're not receiving mobile push notifications, you can follow these steps to get them working again.
First things to check
Before proceeding with specific instructions for resetting your app's permissions, be sure to check all of the following:
In your Clarityflow account, navigate to your User profile > Notifications. Ensure that all of the things you want to receive mobile notifications for are enabled.
In your iPhone or Android general device settings, in the notifications settings, ensure that you have mobile push notifications enabled (in general) and specifically for the Clarityflow app.
Assuming the above steps alone haven't resolved the issue, you should proceed with these additional steps for resetting your app's notifications permissions.
Re-enable notifications on iPhone or iPad
Open the Clarityflow app.
In the Clarityflow app, tap the menu at the top-left corner, then sign out of your account.
Navigate to the home screen using the Home icon at the top right corner.
Exit and close the Clarityflow app.
Clear the Clarityflow app from your recent apps by swiping up on it.
Reopen the Clarityflow app.
Upon reopening, if you see a popup asking for permission to allow notifications, go ahead and allow notifications.
In the Clarityflow app, sign back into your account by entering your email and password.
Re-enable notifications on Android
Open the Clarityflow app.
In the Clarityflow app, tap the menu at the top-left corner, then sign out of your account.
Navigate to the home screen using the Home icon at the top right corner.
Exit and close the Clarityflow app.
Clear the Clarityflow app from your recent apps.
Long-press the application icon and select App Info.
Clear Storage and Cache.
Reopen the Clarityflow app.
Upon reopening, a popup to ask permission to allow notifications will appear. Go ahead and allow notifications.
In the Clarityflow app, sign back into your account by entering your email and password.
