AI summaries of messages

Long-running conversations in Clarityflow tend to accumulate many messages. And sometimes the message recordings themselves can be long and time consuming to play back.

Clarityflow's AI features can help you make managing your messages easier!

Automated message titles with AI

Every message gets a message title, which is shown above the message and in the conversation sidebar.

A few minutes after a video or audio message has been recorded or uploaded, that message title will be automatically re-written by AI to make it more accurate and relevant to the topic of the message.

You, the message author, always have the option to click the message title and give it a custom title to use instead of the AI-generated one.

You can disable AI message titles altogether in your Account Settings > "Conversations & Messages".

Automated message summaries with AI

After a video or audio message has been recorded or uploaded in Clarityflow, a full word-for-word transcript is generated and attached to the message.

In addition—if your plan includes AI summaries—then an AI-generated bulleted list summary of the key points mentioned in the recording will also be created and attached to the message. You can toggle the message summary into view by clicking the summary icon above the message.

The AI summary is also included in the email notification for a message, making it easy to see at a glance what the message is about before clicking to play it back in full.

Note: It can take several minutes after a message has been posted for the AI generated summary to become available.

AI summaries (when your plan allows) are turned on for all messages in the account, by default. You can disable AI summaries in your account settings > "Conversations & Messages".

You can also disable AI summaries specifically for:

  • Specific conversations. Set this in the conversation's settings > Advanced settings.

  • Courses (and all conversations generated from that course). Set this in the course settings.

Disabling AI features in your account

You may decide that you don't want to use the AI features in Clarityflow at all. Ever. You can easily disable the AI features altogether by going to your Account's settings > "Conversations & Messages".

Here, you can disable one or both of these settings:

  • AI message titles

  • AI message summaries

Sending AI summaries to Zapier or Webhooks

If you're using Clarityflow's Zapier integration or Clarityflow's Webhooks integration then you can enable or disable the sending of the AI-generated summaries to Zapier or Webhooks in your Account's settings > "Conversations & Messages".
