Learn about Clarityflow's security

At Clarityflow, we don't just prioritize security and data privacy — we live it. Every day, we're bolstering our security infrastructure to ensure the highest level of protection for your data.

This guide provides the latest insights into how we handle data and content at Clarityflow. As we continually enhance our security protocols, we keep this page updated to reflect our current practices.

If you have any questions at any time, feel free to reach out to us.

Encryption

Clarityflow leverages 256-bit encryption throughout our software and website to safeguard your data. This means whether data is on its way to our website ("in transit"), stored in our live database ("at rest"), or tucked away in our backups — it's always encrypted.

Hosting

Clarityflow is proudly hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with our servers strategically located in the United States. AWS is a globally recognized and trusted software service provider, known for its rigorous physical and digital security infrastructure. Learn more about their security commitment here.

Password Hashing

We adhere to industry-standard authentication protocols to manage your login details. Rest assured, your password is securely hashed before it's stored in our system, meaning we never have access to your plaintext password.

Backups

Your data is precious to us. That's why we perform daily backups of all content hosted on our servers and have the capability to restore from a recent backup if needed. Like everything else, all backups are encrypted and housed within United States-based servers.

Privacy Settings in Conversations

With Clarityflow, you have the steering wheel. We provide options for setting conversations and their content to "private" and "invite-only", which necessitates users to authenticate their login details to access.

Here's how you can take control with Clarityflow:

  • Choose to make individual or all conversations private and invite-only.

  • Prevent or remove access for individual users to specific conversations.

  • Grant "view-only" access to users, allowing them to read a conversation but not post messages.

Software Design & Testing Best Practices

Our commitment to your security is reflected in our choice of tools, libraries, and practices. We use industry-standard software design practices and trusted, mature tools that prioritize security. Furthermore, our extensive testing, quality assurance, and security review processes are always evolving to become more robust as our infrastructure expands.

A Note About HIPAA, PCI, and Other Compliance Types:

Different industries often have specific regulations that necessitate official software certifications. As Clarityflow serves customers across hundreds of different sectors, it's currently not feasible for us to seek these specific types of certifications. However, we're confident that our security measures align with common standards and best practices, providing robust protection for the vast majority of users. At this time, we do not claim to be HIPAA compliant, PCI compliant, etc.

For any other queries or concerns, feel free to contact us. Your security is our commitment.
